The Erbil logistics exhibition will open in mid-December at the International Exhibition Hall in Sami Abdulrahman Park. The event will bring together ten local and international companies. It will also highlight Erbil’s growing role as a regional commercial hub. The organizers said they want the exhibition to build stronger links in the transport and delivery sector.

Gailan Saeed, head of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce, said preparations continue at a fast pace. He said his team registers local and foreign companies every day. Moreover, he stressed that the exhibition aims to support stronger cooperation between businesses. He said Erbil now attracts more companies because the city offers stable conditions and strong commercial demand.

Saeed noted that a major Chinese logistics company confirmed its readiness to join. He said this interest shows the strong appeal of the Erbil logistics exhibition for international firms. Additionally, he explained that port companies from Mersin and Iskenderun received formal invitations. He expects more companies to respond soon.

Every company that joins through the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry will receive a 25% discount. Saeed encouraged companies to use this opportunity. He said the exhibition creates useful business links in transport, delivery, and supply-chain services. Furthermore, he said the chamber wants Erbil to become a key gateway for logistics activity across the region.

The exhibition will be organized by CARGO EVENT in cooperation with the chamber. The organizers said the event will include postal companies, delivery firms, and packaging producers. It will also host banks, insurance companies, rental firms, technology companies, and manufacturers of logistics equipment. They said this mix helps companies explore new partnerships more easily.

The International Exhibition Hall will also host visitors from different sectors. Many companies plan to showcase new technologies that improve delivery speed and reduce operational costs. In addition, several firms will introduce new digital systems for tracking, warehousing, and fleet management. The organizers said these technologies reflect the sector’s rapid growth.

This year, Erbil already hosted 12 major international exhibitions. These events covered energy, agriculture, construction, and technology. Each exhibition attracted strong participation and created new commercial links. Therefore, business leaders expect the Erbil logistics exhibition to continue this momentum.

The exhibition matters because it supports stronger commercial activity. It also helps local companies reach international partners. Most importantly, it shows Erbil’s rising importance in the logistics sector. As more companies join, the city strengthens its position as a regional connector for trade, transport, and delivery.
