Preparations for the Kurdistan Region’s August salary list are continuing, with the document expected to reach Baghdad early next week.

A source at the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Ministry of Finance and Economy said officials are completing the remaining details of the salary list.

The source said only a few administrative details remain. Officials expect to complete the work within the next few days.

Once the ministry completes the list, it will send the document to Baghdad for review and further procedures.

The source said the ministry plans to send the August salary list to Baghdad at the beginning of next week.

The process represents another step in the monthly salary procedures between the Kurdistan Regional Government and Iraq’s federal government.

The two sides continue to coordinate salary payments through financial and administrative reviews. The Kurdistan Region submits salary lists to the federal government as part of the process.

The Ministry of Finance and Economy is also preparing the July audit list. According to the ministry source, officials expect to complete the July review list by Sunday.

The ministry plans to send the July review list to Baghdad together with the August salary list.

A ministry team will handle the documents and send them to Baghdad once officials complete the necessary procedures.

The review process remains an important part of the salary mechanism. It allows both sides to verify financial and administrative data before completing monthly payments.

Officials have not announced the exact amount expected for August salaries. They have also not provided a specific date for Baghdad to approve or transfer the funds.

For now, the main focus remains on completing the remaining details and sending the documents on schedule. If the ministry completes the preparations as planned, the August salary list should reach Baghdad early next week.

The development comes as Kurdistan Region employees continue to follow the monthly salary process closely. Any delay in reviewing or approving the lists could affect the timing of salary payments.

For this reason, completing both the July review list and August salary list remains a priority for the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
