The directorate distributed over 10.79 million liters of white oil across border districts. It coordinates shipments from Baghdad to maintain a steady supply. The system now runs in a stable phase and focuses on urban centers.
Officials say they have already distributed more than 80% of the allocated fuel. Each household receives 100 liters under the current plan. This system helps improve control and fairness in distribution. The program covers Duhok city, Akre, Bardarash, Semel, and Zakho.

During the shortage, gas distribution in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah dropped to twice a week. Commercial gas prices also rose sharply. Prices exceeded 30,000 Iraqi dinars per cylinder.
Now production has stabilized. Supply levels have recovered across the region. Officials expect further improvements in the coming days. This should ease pressure on households and markets.
