Ministry of Oil has released the final statistics for oil exports and revenues for October. According to the report, Iraq’s total crude oil exports, including condensates, reached 110,923,047 barrels. This marked a steady flow of shipments from both central, southern, and northern fields.

Oil revenues for the month exceeded 7.030 billion USD, highlighting the sector’s continuing importance to the Iraqi economy. Central and southern Iraqi fields contributed the bulk of the exports, totaling 104,816,106 barrels. Meanwhile, the Kurdistan Region exported 5,834,864 barrels through Turkey’s international port. Additionally, Iraq exported 272,077 barrels to Jordan, supporting regional energy trade.

Kurdistan oil exports have remained resilient despite regional challenges. The October shipments reflect the Kurdistan Regional Government’s commitment to maintaining a steady oil supply. Over the past months, officials have focused on improving export infrastructure and ensuring timely delivery through Turkey. This strategy has helped the region secure consistent revenue streams and strengthen trade relations with neighboring countries.

Furthermore, Kurdistan oil exports in October accounted for roughly 5% of Iraq’s total oil shipments. Experts believe this percentage underscores the region’s growing role in the country’s energy market. With continued investments in oil pipelines and export facilities, the Kurdistan Region aims to expand its capacity and attract more buyers.

The revenue generated from Kurdistan oil exports contributes significantly to the local budget. Officials in Erbil emphasize that these funds support public services, infrastructure projects, and development programs. They also stress that transparent reporting of oil shipments helps build trust with international partners and investors.

In conclusion, Iraq’s October oil export report demonstrates the country’s overall production strength and the Kurdistan Region’s strategic role. The nearly 6 million barrels exported from Kurdistan highlight both the region’s potential and its growing importance in Iraq’s energy sector. Continued focus on infrastructure, efficient transportation, and international partnerships will likely boost Kurdistan oil exports in the coming months.
