The city of Slemani is set to host the inaugural Delphi-Slemani Conference on May 18 and 19, under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This high-level forum represents a significant step in regional and international dialogue, aligning with the broader objectives of the Delphi Economic Forum—an influential platform for addressing strategic issues including security, energy sustainability, economic reform, and investment dynamics.
This first-of-its-kind event in Slemani is being organized in cooperation with the Kurdistan Regional Government and is overseen by the General Secretariat for International Relations, the Foreign Desk of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the national investment promotion agency, Enterprise Greece.
The conference will convene prominent figures from Iraq, Greece, and the international community, including leading investors and business leaders. Discussions will center on trade policy, regional economic integration, and strategies to enhance cross-border cooperation, with a strong emphasis on attracting foreign investment and promoting sustainable development throughout the Middle East.
