UKH Launched the Entrepreneurial Society to Drive Innovation and Excellence

The University of Kurdistan Hewlêr hosted the Entrepreneurial Society event on Tuesday, 27 May 2025, highlighting the university’s ongoing commitment to innovation, creativity, and sustainable economic development. The event commenced with opening remarks delivered by Interim President Dr. Zana Ibrahim and Dr. Ruwayda Mustafah, the visionary founder of the Entrepreneurial Society. Both speakers emphasized the vital role of entrepreneurship in shaping future leaders and contributing to regional progress.

The program celebrated the drive, creativity, and perseverance of UKH’s student and alumni community, spotlighting their dedication to business innovation and societal impact. A key segment of the event featured a dynamic panel discussion with three accomplished alumni—Dr. Bayar Shahab, Tirooz Saeed, and Mohammed Malawi. Each shared valuable insights and personal experiences from their journey as former UKH students to successful CEOs, offering guidance and inspiration to the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The event also provided a platform for current students to pitch original business concepts before an expert jury. These presentations demonstrated a strong grasp of market needs, creativity, and entrepreneurial acumen.
