Kavin Group has launched a new drive to attract foreign investment during the World Economic Forum in Davos. The initiative comes as part of the Kurdistan Region’s official economic delegation, which is promoting investment opportunities and recent development progress.

Therefore, the group aims to use Davos as a global platform to highlight Kurdistan’s economic potential. Company officials say the forum offers direct access to international investors and decision-makers.

Zikri Bashir, owner of Kavin Group, said that the meetings are focused on encouraging foreign companies to enter the Kurdistan market.

“Our goal through these meetings is to draw the attention of foreign investors so they come to the Kurdistan Region and invest,” Bashir said. “This year presents a major opportunity for us to exchange ideas on projects and explore new possibilities.”

Moreover, Kavin Group is participating in Davos for the second consecutive year. The company says continued engagement is key to building long-term partnerships and trust with global investors.

Furthermore, for the third year in a row, the Kurdistan Regional Government has opened Kurdistan House in Davos. Prime Minister Masrour Barzani personally oversaw the opening of the venue. Kurdistan House serves as a central hub for meetings, panels, and networking events.

Therefore, the venue is hosting around 20 major investors and business leaders from the Kurdistan Region. These figures are supporting the government delegation and presenting investment-ready projects across multiple sectors.

Officials say Kurdistan House has become an important tool for economic diplomacy. It allows local companies to engage directly with global partners in a high-profile setting.

This year’s World Economic Forum has drawn significant international attention. Around 65 presidents and prime ministers are attending the event. Kavin Group believes the presence of world leaders strengthens the forum’s value for serious investment discussions.

The company says it will continue using international platforms to promote Kurdistan as a stable and emerging investment destination.
