The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has launched a new initiative allowing contracted teachers and senior staff to purchase cars on installment plans.

The Ministry has signed a contract with GAC Company. Under this agreement, contracted teachers and senior staff can buy cars with no extra fees. Installments will be automatically deducted from their salaries. This car installment plan makes it easier for teachers to own vehicles without financial strain.

Additionally, Dr. Twana Najaf, General Director of the Directorate of Administration and Finance, said: “This offer allows contracted university and college teachers to benefit and purchase a car through installments.”

Therefore, each contracted teacher or senior staff member can participate. The ministry and affiliated universities will provide support. Buyers may need to use land or property as collateral. Alternatively, two or more senior staff members can act as guarantors, depending on the car price and salary level.

Furthermore, teachers and senior staff can pay 20% to 30% of the car price upfront. The remaining balance will be repaid over 36 months via salary deductions. This plan ensures monthly payments are manageable and affordable.

Key benefits are:

  • Car installment plan designed for contracted teachers and senior staff.
  • No extra fees added to the car price.
  • Flexible collateral options or guarantors allowed.
  • Automatic salary deductions make payments easy.

The program supports contracted teachers in securing reliable transportation while maintaining financial stability.
